This is next gen and is claimed to be near perfect to human translation. Both Google and Microsoft have free accounts for text translation using NMT with an API key, so the plugin would need to allow users to enter an API key.
It is worth mentioning a bit about the NMT offerings by Google and Microsoft. Both have free offerings but require the user to have an account (to get an API key). ATM Google offers a $300 credit with up to 500,000 characters translation per month. That's between 30,000 and 50,000 words each month! It is called Auzure Translator and offers 2,000,000 characters translation per month at no cost.
So, in summary the plugin is OK as far as it goes, but it would be great if users could take full advantage of the Azure Translator NMT free offering by entering their API key.
